ใช้ Minecraft Launcher ทางการ เลือก Java Edition แล้วเปิด Installations เปิดตัวกรอง Snapshots และสร้าง New installation เพื่อเลือก 1.8.2-pre7 หากมีในรายการ กำหนด Game Directory แยกจากโลกหลัก สำรองข้อมูลก่อน และใช้โลกทดสอบใหม่เท่านั้น อย่านำโลกจากรุ่นใหม่มาเปิดย้อนหลัง
